Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and assist in preparing accurate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review accounting reports for accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial reconciliations.

• Support tax computations and return filings in compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate with auditors during the annual external audit process.

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring detailed transaction records.

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

• Ensure adherence to national and state financial regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Economics.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and cost variance analysis.

• Excellent negotiation and client relationship management skills.

• Proficiency in data analysis, financial reporting, and modern accounting techniques.

• Strong Microsoft Suite skills, with experience implementing technology in financial operations.

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks software.
