A reputable Government Entity based in Dubai is seeking an Archive Specialist to manage and maintain a comprehensive records management system. This position is offered on a contractual basis and requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to handle both physical and digital documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, catalogue, and archive both physical and digital records in an organized, easily retrievable format.

  • Maintain and update logs and tracking systems to ensure accurate indexing of records.

  • Implement and enforce archiving procedures including retention schedules and disposal protocols.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather, review, and properly classify documents.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and compliance.

  • Control and monitor access to archived materials; maintain retrieval and return logs.

  • Assist in digitization efforts and contribute to digital archiving projects.

  • Ensure compliance with internal document management policies and relevant legal requirements.

  • Provide training and guidance to internal staff on best practices for documentation and archiving.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for off-site storage or scanning services when necessary.
