A reputable Government Entity based in Dubai is seeking an Archive Specialist to manage and maintain a comprehensive records management system. This position is offered on a contractual basis and requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to handle both physical and digital documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect, catalogue, and archive both physical and digital records in an organized, easily retrievable format.

Maintain and update logs and tracking systems to ensure accurate indexing of records.

Implement and enforce archiving procedures including retention schedules and disposal protocols.

Collaborate with various departments to gather, review, and properly classify documents.

Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and compliance.

Control and monitor access to archived materials; maintain retrieval and return logs.

Assist in digitization efforts and contribute to digital archiving projects.

Ensure compliance with internal document management policies and relevant legal requirements.

Provide training and guidance to internal staff on best practices for documentation and archiving.

Coordinate with third-party vendors for off-site storage or scanning services when necessary.
