Role Overview

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting client is seeking experienced Architectural Draughtsmen to join a dynamic team in Dubai, contributing to landmark residential developments. This contract role, offered through J10 Consulting, offers immediate joining with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct precise site measurements and prepare detailed layout and as-built drawings

• Create comprehensive technical drawings for site execution and client approval

• Coordinate with government and semi-government authorities (DM, DCD, DEWA, JAFZA, TRAKHEES, NAKHEEL, etc.) for permit approvals

• Assist the Design Team with architectural and interior draughting, revisions, and compliance

• Prepare client submission documents including sample forms, BOQs, and completion reports

• Liaise with operations for site mobilization, site markings, and handover documentation

• Ensure accurate and timely updates of project documentation and drawing revisions

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in architectural draughting, minimum 2 years with a reputable UAE Main Contractor

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools specific to architectural and interior detailing

• Prior experience in high-rise residential projects is highly preferred

• Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes and technical submission standards
