Nexa Engineering Consulting LLC is seeking a highly experienced Architect of Record (AOR) to lead authority submissions and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards across Dubai and Abu Dhabi projects. This role involves managing all submissions and approvals with local municipalities and related authorities, serving as the primary liaison to ensure documentation accuracy and timely delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting design teams and maintaining compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate authority submissions and approvals with Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, and other regulatory bodies.

• Act as the primary contact with government authorities for timely processing of documentation.

• Review architectural documents to ensure compliance with Dubai and Abu Dhabi building codes and regulations.

• Maintain detailed schedules and checklists of required NOCs and approvals, monitoring progress and following up.

• Stay updated on evolving regulations and communicate changes to project teams.

• Represent the company in technical meetings with authorities.

• Conduct design compliance reviews and assist with inspections related to authority requirements.

• Collaborate internally to improve documentation workflows.

• Support recruitment efforts by participating in technical interviews for design department candidates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture, with substantial expertise in authority submissions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

• Strong knowledge of municipal and regulatory procedures.

• UAE Society of Engineers registration preferred.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
