Wison Engineering Ltd., a leading EPC and technology service provider, is seeking a highly skilled Appointed Person (AP) – Lifting Operations to join its construction team for a major ADNOC project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. The Appointed Person will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and executing lifting operations while ensuring compliance with ADNOC Lifting & Hoisting Standards, LOLER, and the Project HSE Plan. This position demands strong technical expertise, safety leadership, and operational excellence in managing heavy and critical lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and approve lifting plans and method statements, including heavy and critical lifts.

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure strict adherence to ADNOC and international safety standards.

• Select and verify cranes, lifting gear, and related accessories.

• Supervise and control lifting operations, ensuring safety zones and ground stability.

• Coordinate with ADNOC authorities for approvals of critical lifts.

• Immediately stop unsafe operations and enforce ADNOC Life-Saving Rules.

• Maintain inspection logs, registers, and prepare regular lifting safety reports.

• Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Appointed Person Certification (CPCS, NPORS, or ADNOC-approved equivalent).

• 7–10 years of experience in lifting operations, with at least 3 years as AP in oil & gas EPC projects.

• Strong knowledge of ADNOC Lifting & Hoisting Standards and international best practices.

• Expertise in heavy lifting studies, crane load charts, and ground-bearing calculations.

• Excellent communication, supervision, and leadership skills in multicultural environments.

• Ability to remain decisive and effective under pressure.
