Reneco International Wildlife Consultants LTD is seeking an Animal Nutritionist to join its Veterinary Science division in the Breeding team. Reneco is dedicated to restoring and preserving the Houbara bustard populations in North Africa and Asia through research, breeding, and conservation programs. This role involves managing nutritional programs, food supply logistics, feed quality, and supporting the overall health and productivity of the species under conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage food supply needs across sites, ensuring timely orders and delivery.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while identifying new sources.

• Implement, monitor, and optimize nutritional programs tailored to different species and life stages.

• Analyse effectiveness of nutrition plans and recommend improvements for better health outcomes.

• Support veterinary teams in managing metabolic disorders and identifying links between nutrition and health.

• Ensure feed quality, hygiene, safety, and compliance with standards.

• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, supplier performance, and program effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Degree in Animal Physiology and Nutrition Engineering, Veterinary Medicine with specialization in Animal Nutrition, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition.

• Solid understanding of animal physiology and nutrition’s impact on production performance.

• Experience in food supply management, stock monitoring, and supplier coordination.

• Knowledge of feed quality, hygiene standards, and emergency management.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

• Fluency in English; French or Arabic is an advantage.
