Magellan Capital, a growing investment management firm based in DIFC, is seeking an Analyst for their Private Investments team. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, driven, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a multi-cultural team on private equity, private credit, and alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating pipeline opportunities and preparing presentations for the Investment Committee (IC).

• Participate in due diligence, including preparing and reviewing transaction materials, with a focus on PowerPoint presentations.

• Support deal execution by preparing investment memos, presentations, and transaction documentation.

• Build financial models to analyze potential investments, including projections, return analyses, and sensitivity scenarios.

• Stay updated on private equity market trends and emerging investment themes.

• Track performance of existing investments and assist in the development of portfolio reports and internal updates.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a top-tier institution.

• 1-2 years of full-time work experience in investment banking advisory or a private equity/private credit analyst role.

• Minimum 3.5 GPA or equivalent academic excellence.

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and investment analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• A driven, energetic self-starter with a positive mindset and initiative.

• Genuine interest in private equity, private credit, and alternative investments.
