Job Description:

We are hiring an Analyst / Associate (Corporate Finance & Investments) to join Petroruss DMCC in Dubai. This role provides a unique opportunity to work directly with the CFO on high-impact projects across corporate finance, investment strategy, and shareholder capital management. You will collaborate with portfolio companies, support M&A transactions, and contribute to business planning and asset management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Finance & Portfolio Company Support

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for portfolio companies.

• Conduct financial and operational performance analysis, covering revenue, margins, CAPEX, and unit economics.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and operational forecasts.

• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and identify business drivers.

• Create management dashboards, BI tools, and strategic presentations for senior executives and shareholders.

• Support M&A, divestment, and external financing processes.

Asset Management & Investment Support

• Research emerging markets, asset classes, and sectors (private equity, VC, real estate, energy).

• Evaluate investment proposals from banks, funds, and advisors.

• Participate in due diligence and build return models (IRR, cash-on-cash, sensitivity analysis).

• Assist in deal structuring and strategic capital allocation.

• Monitor illiquid assets, including direct equity stakes and shareholder loans.

Budgeting & Business Planning

• Consolidate financial and operational data for group-wide budgets.

• Support the development and execution of strategic business plans.

• Track deviations and provide timely performance insights.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics (top-tier university preferred).

• Analyst: 1–3 years; Associate: 3–5 years experience in investment banking, Big 4 (TS/Valuation/Due Diligence), private equity, corporate finance, or strategy consulting.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, corporate finance, and valuation.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial statement analysis.
