Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Job Description:

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a globally recognized fresh fruits and vegetables trading company based in Dubai, UAE. This full-time position is ideal for a finance professional with industry-specific experience and a sharp eye for detail.

You will play a key role in managing the accounts payable process, assisting with reconciliations, month-end closings, and maintaining vendor relationships. If you’re experienced in finance within the produce industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all invoices.

• Prepare and maintain AP reconciliation reports, ensuring account accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.

• Assist the Finance Manager in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all AP transactions are correctly recorded.

• Foster and maintain positive vendor relationships by resolving inquiries and payment issues promptly.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Proven experience in the fruits and vegetables trading industry is a must.

• Proficient in Excel functions including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and SUMIF.

• Strong understanding of IFRS 16 and relevant accounting practices.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Open to candidates of Asian or Arabic nationality.
