Job Overview

Charterhouse is hiring an Accounts Payable Officer fluent in Farsi, to join a leading regional business in Dubai. This role is part of a centralized finance team, handling financial accounting, VAT reporting, and transactional accounting, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, experience in professional services, and expertise in financial reporting, cash flow management, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

📊 Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Ensure accurate financial statement recording in line with regulatory requirements.

• Oversee VAT returns and compliance on a quarterly basis.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

💰 Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage transactional accounting processes, including invoices, payments, and collections.

• Oversee cash flow and working capital reports for management review.

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial policies.

🖥 ERP & Data Management

• Maintain and optimize accounting and ERP systems for accurate data entry and financial reporting.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

✅ Education & Experience

• Part-qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

• 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, accounts payable, and reporting.

• Previous experience in a professional services firm is highly preferred.

✅ Skills & Knowledge

• Fluent in Farsi (Native Speaker) – Must be based in the UAE.

• Strong understanding of working capital, cash flow management, and MIS reporting.

• Experience with tax and regulatory compliance in the UAE and GCC.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel for financial analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
