Job Title: Team Lead – Bookkeeping Services (UAE Accounting & Taxation)

Job Description

We are expanding rapidly and are seeking a Team Lead – Bookkeeping Services to oversee, mentor, and manage a team of bookkeepers while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for our clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with team leadership experience and a strong grasp of UAE taxation laws and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Team Leadership & Oversight

• Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of 3-4 bookkeepers, ensuring high performance and accuracy.

• Review and validate bookkeeping work to maintain completeness, compliance, and quality.

• Monitor team performance against KPIs, provide constructive feedback, and drive process improvements.

🔹 Bookkeeping & Financial Management

• Oversee and execute accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and data entry.

• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards.

• Ensure accurate VAT and Corporate Tax reporting per UAE regulations.

🔹 Compliance & Client Communication

• Ensure adherence to UAE accounting and taxation laws.

• Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving bookkeeping-related issues.

• Implement best practices and workflow enhancements to optimize service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

✅ 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in the UAE.
✅ Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams.
✅ In-depth knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax laws.
✅ Proficiency in QuickBooks, ZohoBooks, 1C, or similar accounting software.
✅ Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
✅ UAE Taxation Certification (preferred).
