Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of a rapidly expanding construction firm in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in audit, reconciliation, tax compliance, and financial reporting, with a preference for candidates with experience in top-tier audit firms and a solid understanding of regional and international financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Lead monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Manage internal and external financial audits, coordinating with auditors to meet deadlines.

• Supervise project-specific financial transactions, ensuring proper cost allocation and reconciliation.

• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax regulations, and other regional tax requirements.

• Optimize intercompany and international financial transactions for accuracy and efficiency.

• Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial operations.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

• Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and project stakeholders.

• Mentor and supervise a team of accounting and finance professionals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA (preferred).

• 6–10 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.

• Background in audit or consulting with a top-tier accounting firm is highly desirable.

• Experience in construction or contracting industries is a strong advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
