Saipem, a global leader in engineering, construction, and operations for complex energy infrastructures, is seeking an Accountant (UAE National) to join its Abu Dhabi office. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to contribute to world-class projects while supporting Saipem’s vision of “Engineering for a Sustainable Future.”

The Accountant will manage financial operations, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support project-related financial activities. The role involves handling daily transactions, preparing reports, monitoring project costs, and assisting in audits and closings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and verify financial transactions in accordance with corporate and project standards.

• Monitor and report project expenses, cost allocations, and variances.

• Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and bank statements.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.

• Assist internal and external audit processes.

• Maintain accurate financial documentation for compliance and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Prior experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, or large infrastructure projects preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

• Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation.

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
