💼 Role Summary: Financial Accountant
As an Accountant at Tractebel’s Finance Department in Dubai, you will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity and compliance across operations. You will prepare financial reports, manage ledger reconciliations, support audits, and play a key role in financial closing and reporting processes in a dynamic international environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and assist with budget monitoring

Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts

Conduct month-end closing activities including accruals and expense reports

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely accounting postings

Supervise accounts receivable/payable and conduct aging reviews
-
Develop cash flow forecasts and support regional/group financial reporting
-
Submit VAT and WHT returns compliant with local regulations
-
Assist with external audits and resolve discrepancies
-
Manage payment processes and petty cash disbursements
-
Reconcile intercompany accounts globally

Ensure adherence to IFRS standards and internal accounting policies

Meet all reporting deadlines (monthly, quarterly, annual)
✅ Candidate Profile
-
Education: ACCA, CA, MBA, or M.COM (Post Graduate Diploma preferred)

Experience: 3-5 years as General Accountant or Senior Accountant

ERP Knowledge: QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems
-
Skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems

Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a global, cross-border setting
