Guildhall is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Dubai. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring tax compliance, preparing financial reports, and working with clients to meet their financial goals. Flexible work arrangements and occasional on-site client visits will be part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, track transactions, invoices, and accounts payable/receivable.

• Accounting Software Management: Use QuickBooks and Xero to manage client accounts and prepare financial statements.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• Tax Filings & Compliance: Assist in VAT return submissions and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.

• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, provide financial insights, and offer support as needed.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Help clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Audit Support: Assist in year-end audits by providing necessary documentation.

• General Bookkeeping: Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (preferably in an accounting firm or similar environment).

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and deadline management.

• Understanding of VAT and UAE tax regulations.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Filipino (Preferred but not mandatory).
