Role Overview:

Hermès is seeking a Cashier to join its team at the Dubai Mall boutique. The role is essential to ensuring smooth and accurate sales transactions, exceptional customer service, and seamless store operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in luxury retail, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers warmly, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments.

• Handle payments through cash, card, cheque, or wire transfer in line with store policies.

• Manage daily cash handling, till operations, and deposit procedures.

• Complete and maintain accurate records and transaction paperwork.

• Assist with opening and closing the store, ensuring all financial processes are accurate.

• Provide receipts, issue change, and ensure correct pricing of merchandise.

• Train and guide junior cashiers, setting high standards for service and accuracy.

• Maintain a clean and organized register/counter area.

• Assist in restocking, labeling, and rotating merchandise.

• Collaborate with sales and management teams to ensure efficient store operations.

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences that align with Hermès’ luxury standards.

Performance Measures:

• Accuracy in processing transactions and handling payments.

• Timely and smooth checkout flow for clients.

• Positive client feedback and satisfaction levels.

• Effective teamwork and collaboration with the sales team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role, preferably within luxury retail.

• Strong numerical and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain professionalism.

• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and customer focus.
