Job Overview:
AMETEK Process Instruments is seeking a Service Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for their analyzers in the Middle East. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and promoting service growth in the region. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, client service skills, and the ability to work independently in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete on-site installations, service support, hardware/software configuration, and maintenance for Process Instruments products.

• Ensure repaired systems meet operational specifications and document all service activities.

• Deliver training to end-users both online and on-site to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

• Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to enhance market penetration and identify upselling opportunities.

• Diagnose analyzer faults down to the board/component level for electronics and sample systems.

• Propose design improvements and enhancements.

• Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams.

• Document work in service reports and complete billing or warranty documentation as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 5–8 years of experience with analyzers in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Self-starter with minimal supervision in isolated environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical teaching abilities, and client service orientation.

• Ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels.

• Comfortable with approximately 80% domestic and international travel.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, manipulate materials, and work at heights or in high-temperature environments.

• Valid driving capability in Middle East countries.
