Al Arab & Asia Oilfield Services LLC is a leading manpower supply and services company in the UAE, specializing in skilled workforce solutions for oil & gas, construction, and facility management sectors. The Welding Supervisor will oversee day-to-day welding operations, provide guidance to the welding team, and ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to technical drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise onsite welding operations and daily tasks.

• Provide guidance and support to the welding team.

• Ensure compliance with work packages, technical drawings, schedules, and budgets.

• Resolve operational or technical issues to maintain project quality.

• Maintain adherence to international shipbuilding standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a certified apprenticeship program in welding (shipbuilding/ship repair) or equivalent.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial/military shipbuilding or repairs, including at least 1 year as a welding foreman.

• Knowledge of ships, shipbuilding materials, fabrication processes, quality control procedures, and structural/welding drawings.

• Familiarity with shipboard machinery, piping, propulsion, electrical, and navigation systems.

• Strong project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.

• Attention to detail, teamwork, and understanding of operational environments.
