Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a Marine Advisor to act as the company’s marine representative for offshore installation works. The role involves monitoring marine operations, conducting inspections, preparing vessel tenders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards in offshore oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct marine vessel inspections and audits (ISM and ASMC).

  • Monitor marine operations during offshore lifts and installation activities.

  • Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications for vessel tenders.

  • Review risk assessments and participate in technical evaluations for vessels.

  • Participate in or conduct incident investigations.

  • Liaise with contractors and internal teams for marine project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Unlimited Class One (1) Master Mariner Certificate of Competence (CoC) STCW 1995 and amendments from a white list country.

  • BSc Degree in Maritime Discipline or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore oil and gas industry as Master on PSV, AHTS, Heavy Lift, Dive, Construction, Pipe Lay, Cable Lay, DP, or conventional vessels.

  • Familiarity with ADNOC Offshore fields, SIMO, ASMV, ASMC, and JUIMS.

  • Strong report writing and computer skills.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  • Final appointment subject to successful interview with Bureau Veritas and ADNOC.
