Coinbase, a leading digital assets platform, is seeking a UAE Policy Manager to join its Policy team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role involves driving policy research, advocacy, and government engagement in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public policy, knowledge of financial services and technology, and strong communication skills to influence and support Coinbase’s strategic objectives in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct policy and legislative research relevant to Coinbase’s priorities.

• Identify and recommend proactive strategies on policy issues affecting the UAE market.

• Support regulatory whitepapers, consultations, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Serve as the main point of contact for government relationships in the UAE.

• Develop position papers and advocacy documents to align policy positions across departments.

• Monitor and analyze policy trends, providing concise summaries for internal teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on external policy communications.

• Support Coinbase’s international expansion by integrating policy considerations into business strategies.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in public policy management or government roles.

• Expertise in financial services and technology.

• Demonstrated experience engaging UAE lawmakers and regulators.

• Experience advising Product and Engineering teams on policy integration.

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

• Strong interest in digital assets, crypto markets, and blockchain technology.

• High emotional intelligence and proactive problem-solving mindset.

• Nice to have: Experience in a legislature or financial regulatory body.
