We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical & Structural Engineer (Port Cranes) to oversee the planning, installation, maintenance, and refurbishment of mechanical and structural systems for port crane projects. This senior role involves leading site teams, ensuring project delivery to the highest standards, and providing technical expertise across all project phases. The successful candidate will manage site operations, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage site teams for mechanical, structural, and associated crane works.

Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.

Provide technical guidance, training, and support to project engineers and technicians.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and engage stakeholders.

Collaborate with procurement teams for sourcing equipment, materials, and services.

Manage supplier/vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Prepare client offers, tender bids, and project cost estimates.

Track project performance through weekly progress and variance reports.

Drive process improvements and adopt innovative solutions for efficiency and quality.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards on-site.

Act as a brand ambassador for the company, upholding values and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in port cranes engineering, maintenance, and project delivery.

Proven expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and structural crane systems.

Strong background in leading large on-site teams and managing multi-disciplinary projects.

Excellent project management, budgeting, and tendering skills.

Outstanding communication and presentation abilities in English.

Results-oriented with the ability to meet KPIs, revenue, and growth targets.
