Kings’ School Dubai is seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (1:1) to join its Inclusion Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive, creative, and innovative environment, working closely with children who require specialized support in their learning journey. The role is full-time and focused on providing tailored one-to-one assistance to students, particularly those with Autism, to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support for students with Autism in Key Stage One.

• Implement strategies to enhance wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion.

• Deliver targeted interventions, including play-based activities, to close academic gaps.

• Support the development of children’s social and emotional needs.

• Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning requirements.

• Work closely with external agencies and attend training sessions as required.

• Build strong, positive relationships with children to support their learning journey.

• Apply in-depth knowledge of Read Write Inc and academic interventions.

• Ensure safeguarding policies and practices are adhered to at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or high school certificate.

• Strong knowledge of KS1 and Foundation Stage Curriculum.

• Specialized understanding of working with children with Autism.

• Training in autism support strategies and wellbeing approaches.

• Ability to differentiate academic work to meet individual student needs.

• Experience in running one-to-one and play-based interventions.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships with students.

• Knowledge of Read Write Inc and a variety of academic interventions.
