DP World is seeking a Group System Administrator to manage and maintain its IT infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in servers, networking, and enterprise applications, ensuring smooth and secure IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor on-premises and cloud-based servers (Windows/Linux).

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user accounts.

• Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.

• Ensure security best practices, including patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.

• Maintain hardware inventory and lifecycle management of IT assets.

• Monitor system performance and perform tuning to maintain efficiency.

• Install, configure, and support enterprise applications and services (e.g., Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware).

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and procurement.

• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions.

• Create and maintain IT documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, configuration guides).

• Assist with IT audits and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in IT system administration or similar roles.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, and networking protocols.

• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

• Familiarity with security tools (endpoint protection, SIEM, MFA, backup solutions).

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+, Azure Administrator, RHCSA

Preferred Skills:

• PowerShell or Bash scripting for automation.

• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, New Relic).

• Understanding of ITIL framework and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
