DHL Express is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Data Entry professional to join our Gateway Operations team in Dubai. The role ensures full compliance with all regulatory requirements for customs clearance while maintaining high accuracy and speed to meet express shipment expectations. This position is ideal for candidates who are self-learners, organized, and capable of working under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Declare all customs pre-alerts on time.

• Ensure accurate recording of HS Codes, country of origin, number of pieces, weight, value, and currency while lodging entries to customs.

• Submit all clearance through Mirsal 2 / B2G at line-item level.

• Update shipments requiring special handling with appropriate ACA statuses or bond reasons.

• Coordinate regulatory approvals by liaising with supervisors for inspections.

• Follow Gateway clearance procedures as per GSOP manual, ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

• Maintain proper record-keeping, ensuring timely updates of reports and files.

• Keep updated with changes in customs rules, regulations, and shipping trends.

• Operate across multiple Gateway locations (JAFZ, DAFZ, SFZ, HFZ, etc.) as required, with own transport arrangements.

• Work in day/night shifts, including public holidays, with appropriate compensation.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of administration experience.

• Sound knowledge of UAE Customs code and practices.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).

• Preferably a university graduate or equivalent.

• High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work quickly under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills.
