WADI ALSAHAB is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to support on-site laboratory services for routine and specialized patient testing in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering accurate diagnostic results, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring patient safety in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized lab tests: hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking.

• Collect, label, process, and manage specimens (venous, capillary, urine, swabs) while ensuring sample integrity.

• Operate and calibrate laboratory analyzers and microscopes; perform daily quality control checks.

• Enter and verify test requisitions and results in Laboratory Information System (LIS); prepare reports for clinicians.

• Adhere strictly to biosafety, infection control, and waste disposal protocols.

• Assist senior technologists with method validation, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and training of junior staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent with UAE-recognized certification/registration.

• 1–3 years of hands-on clinical laboratory experience in hematology, chemistry, or microbiology in a hospital or diagnostic lab.

• Competency in phlebotomy, specimen handling, microscopy, routine analyzer operation, and LIS systems.

• Knowledge of quality control, accreditation standards (ISO 15189 preferred), and clinical laboratory safety protocols.

• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.

• Fluent in English; Arabic or other regional languages are an advantage.

• UAE work eligibility required.

Preferred:

• Experience with molecular techniques (PCR), blood-bank procedures, or point-of-care testing.

• Familiarity with laboratory automation and electronic medical records integration.
