Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Palliative Care (American Board) to join a leading healthcare team in Dubai. The role focuses on providing expert consultation in pain management, symptom control, and psychosocial support for patients requiring end-of-life care. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design personalized care plans and support patients and families with compassion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice to patients and families on pain management, symptom relief, and psychosocial support.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Monitor and coordinate care across hospice, long-term care, and home settings.

Educate and train healthcare professionals on palliative care practices.

Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.

Support patients and families in making informed end-of-life care decisions.
Qualifications / Skills:

Valid American Board certification in Palliative Care (Canadian Board qualification also considered).

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Palliative Care.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Fluency in English (written and verbal).
