Apparel Group, a leading global fashion and lifestyle retail group, is hiring a Designer – Footwear in Dubai. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute footwear designs that align with brand standards, functionality, and market demands. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and strong project management skills to deliver innovative and high-quality footwear collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design team to conceptualize, develop, and present footwear design solutions through visuals, renderings, and detailed presentations.

• Interpret project objectives, functional requirements, and budget constraints.

• Work with cross-functional teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure alignment of design execution with project goals.

• Prepare feasibility studies, conceptual layouts, and detailed design proposals for management approval.

• Use CAD tools and design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, Figma) to create accurate drawings and documentation.

• Produce detailed technical drawings, material schedules, and tender documents.

• Support vendor and contractor coordination, including bid evaluations and presentations.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to quality, budget, and timeline.

• Ensure compliance with brand standards, regulatory requirements, sustainability goals, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• 4–7 years of design experience in footwear, retail, architecture, or interior design.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), AutoCAD, SketchUp; knowledge of Figma is a plus.

• Strong creativity and functional design thinking aligned with brand aesthetics.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and strong knowledge of space planning, design principles, and project execution.
