A leading IT company in the UAE is hiring an L1 NOC Network Security Engineer for its Abu Dhabi office. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing network and security operations using SolarWinds and other tools. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in network/security monitoring, strong problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/Security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot network and security devices including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, MPLS, and WAN links.

• Perform first-level incident management and troubleshooting using SolarWinds and ServiceNow.

• Document technical issues and resolutions clearly for escalation or reporting.

• Work within ITIL-based incident and problem management processes.

• Support a 24/7 operations environment, ensuring network reliability and security.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in large-scale industry network/security monitoring.

• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and related monitoring tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Certifications: Cisco CCNA/Security or equivalent (SolarWinds certifications preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in 24/7 NOC operations.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and their monitoring tools.
