DGM Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled Home Automation Engineer to join their team in Dubai. The role focuses on designing, installing, and supporting smart home technologies for residential projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and designers to deliver intuitive automation solutions that enhance modern living.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement residential automation systems including lighting, HVAC, AV, security, and IoT devices.

• Configure, integrate, and support systems on platforms such as Control4, Crestron, Lutron, KNX, or similar.

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors for proper system planning and execution.

• Provide on-site installation, testing, and troubleshooting for smart home solutions.

• Maintain documentation of system configurations, schematics, and project records.

• Train homeowners on system usage and provide ongoing technical support.

• Stay updated on emerging home automation technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential home automation projects.

• Hands-on knowledge of at least one industry-standard automation platform (Control4, Crestron, Lutron, KNX, etc.).

• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, networking, and system integration.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in relevant automation systems (e.g., Crestron, Control4, Lutron).

• Experience with wireless networking (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter).

• Familiarity with energy management and sustainable smart home technologies.

• Programming or scripting skills for system customization and integration.
