SpeakUp is a global AI-powered platform connecting speakers, event organizers, venues, podcasters, and corporate clients. We are looking for a Business Development Manager on a 3-month contract (with potential extension/full-time offer) to drive client acquisition, sales, and partnerships in the events and media industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition (B2B): Identify target companies, run email campaigns and LinkedIn outreach, and represent SpeakUp at industry events.

Sales & Partnerships: Lead negotiations, deliver presentations and demos, close contracts, and guide onboarding until partner activation.

Client Onboarding & Engagement: Host weekly online webinars and monthly in-person workshops.

Marketing & Communications: Prepare sales decks, tailored proposals, and contribute to campaigns and newsletters.

Analytics & Reporting: Manage pipeline and conversions in CRM, provide weekly sales reports, and share field insights with the product team.
Candidate Requirements:

Strong English communication skills.

Proven experience in B2B business development/sales, ideally in SaaS, events, or media.

Experience in running outreach campaigns (email + LinkedIn) and closing deals.

Confident presenter with experience hosting webinars or client sessions.

Compensation: Fixed + Sales Commission
