A leading multinational organization is hiring a Senior Manager – Risk Management to join its team in Dubai. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational and financial risks across global operations, optimizing insurance strategies, and ensuring efficient, forward-looking risk management processes. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team, contribute to strategic decision-making, and play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s resilience and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis and management of operational and financial risks across global operations.

• Oversee and guide a team in conducting risk assessments and designing mitigation strategies.

• Continuously review, assess, and improve risk management processes for core transactions.

• Manage insurance setup and optimization in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks in daily business activities and new projects.

• Monitor and control risks related to customer cash collection.

• Review trading and shipping contracts from a risk perspective.

• Lead KYC processes and oversee customer/vendor master data management for risk efficiency.

• Manage regular risk reporting cycles for directors and senior stakeholders.

• Act as the client-side lead during internal audits and support departments in internal/external audits.

• Design and implement automation, development, and process optimization initiatives within risk management.

• Handle additional ad hoc responsibilities as directed by leadership.

Candidate Profile:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (risk management certification preferred).

• 10+ years of progressive experience in risk and insurance management within multinational organizations, including 5+ years in a senior managerial role.

• Expertise in international seaborne trade operations, Incoterms, customs, maritime regulations, and trade-related insurance.

• Strong experience in KYC, customer/vendor data management, and contract risk reviews.

• Proven ability to prepare and present risk reports for senior stakeholders.

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.

• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and project management skills.

• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, multi-geography environments.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
