About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable and Collections. The successful candidate will play an essential role in tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level professionals seeking to build a strong career in accounting within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.

• Follow up with clients on overdue payments and maintain accurate collection records.

• Reconcile customer accounts, payments, and bank statements.

• Assist with month-end closing, reporting, and financial documentation.

• Support the finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks and audits.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Management Accounting.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

• Previous experience in insurance brokerage is preferred, but not mandatory.
