Job Description:
The Specialty Runner provides high-quality service to guests at poolside and beach areas, delivering food and beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role ensures guests enjoy seamless service and an exceptional outdoor dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly to poolside and beach guests, with attention to specialty items such as cocktails and gourmet snacks.

• Assist with special requests, dietary preferences, and communicate orders to kitchen/bar staff.

• Support front-of-house staff by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and addressing guest needs.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool and beach service areas, including equipment, lounge chairs, towels, and umbrellas.

• Prepare and set up service areas, trays, and supplies before guest arrival.

• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and follow operational standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and property goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a runner in high-end beach clubs or luxury hospitality environments.

• Knowledge of poolside and beachside food & beverage offerings, including specialty drinks and light bites.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy trays.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
