Aggreko, a global leader in energy solutions, is hiring a Remote Operations Supervisor to oversee real-time operations and ensure smooth system functionality from its Remote Control Center in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The role involves leading a team, monitoring operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting 24/7 remote site operations across the AMEAPAC region. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise 24/7 remote operations support for the AMEAPAC region.

• Ensure compliance with SOPs in dispatching, service requests, incidents, alarms, and performance tracking.

• Lead Remote Operations Specialists and manage smooth shift transitions.

• Provide timely and accurate reporting on control center activities, metrics, and incidents.

• Analyze remote system data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Enforce safety regulations, security protocols, and data protection measures.

• Support remote Permit-to-Work (PTW) issuance for project sites.

• Mentor and train staff on control center operations and best practices.

• Continuously optimize processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Graduate or Higher National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of site experience, preferably in power generation or high-voltage networks.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to work independently.

• In-depth knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance.

• Proficiency in data analysis for data-driven decision-making.

• Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of SCADA & PLC applications (operations and fault finding) is an advantage.

• Experience in the power generation industry is highly desirable.
