Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a luxurious 5-star beachfront resort on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join the Porterhouse restaurant team. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals with prior experience in luxury hotel or fine dining settings who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service with a touch of French elegance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and take food & beverage orders, upselling when possible.

• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained, following mise-en-place and closing duties.

• Accurately process orders using the outlet’s POS system, ensuring proper recording of sales.

• Serve food and drinks according to the restaurant’s standards of presentation and service.

• Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and order in the assigned section.

• Respond to special guest requests regarding food preparation or ingredients.

• Adhere to brand and service standards as set by the Food & Beverage Manager.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel or well-established restaurant.

• Fluent in English, with strong communication and customer service skills.

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about hospitality.

• Already based in the UAE.
