Masdar, the UAE’s clean energy pioneer, is seeking a Senior Manager, Portfolio Management to oversee its clean energy assets across Eastern Europe. This role is focused on maximizing asset value through financial engineering, operational improvements, relationship management, and strategic exits. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in renewable energy investments, portfolio operations, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage due diligence, financial modelling, and closing arrangements for clean energy assets.

Implement financial and operational control frameworks across the portfolio.

Drive operational and financial turnaround strategies for renewable assets.

Lead post-acquisition integration and optimization (technical, operational, financial).

Build and maintain strong relationships with investment partners, JV stakeholders, and portfolio companies.

Monitor and report on asset performance, risks, and opportunities.

Act as a focal point for financing providers and manage refinancing strategies.

Identify and evaluate asset exit strategies and maintain relations with potential buyers.

Oversee third-party service providers, ensuring high-quality, timely services.
Qualifications & Skills:

MBA or relevant Master’s degree (Engineering background preferred).

10–12 years of senior experience in renewable energy, portfolio management, or energy investments.

Strong knowledge of financial modelling, asset management tools, and risk management.

Experience with IPPs, utilities, private equity, or renewable infrastructure investments.

Familiarity with the Greek market and fluency in Greek is a plus.

Excellent strategic thinking, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced corporate environment.
