Cyient is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes in the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations, utilizing PLCs, DCS, and other control technologies. This is a full-time on-site role for an initial 6-month contract, with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain control and instrumentation systems in the control room.

• Ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operation of industrial processes.

• Work with PLCs, DCS, and other control technologies.

• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.

• Adhere to relevant industry standards and safety protocols.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas instrumentation engineering.

• Strong knowledge of process control and instrumentation.

• Experience with PLCs (any type; multiple PLC experience is a plus).

• Familiarity with DCS and industrial control room operations.
