Gargash Group is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across offices, data centers, and remote locations. The role ensures high availability, security, scalability, and performance of all network systems. The Network Engineer will collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business units to deliver reliable network services, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements in line with business and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD-WAN).

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, and access points.

• Implement VLANs, QoS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and secure remote connectivity solutions.

• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, and resolve Level 2 & 3 support issues.

• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other regulatory standards.

• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and collaborate with application, server, and cybersecurity teams.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity with redundancy and failover mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 3–5 years of proven network engineering experience in a complex, multi-site enterprise environment.

• Professional certifications preferred: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE or equivalent.

• Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent network devices.

• Strong experience with routing, switching, wireless, and security solutions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
