The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking a Senior Team Leader – Data and AI Planning to drive the organization’s AI and data strategy. This full-time, on-site role focuses on managing AI and data science initiatives, ensuring alignment with RTA’s vision and the UAE’s national AI strategy, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution, and oversight of AI and data science projects to ensure successful delivery.

• Develop, monitor, and implement AI strategies, roadmaps, KPIs, and performance indicators.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to integrate AI into business operations.

• Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies for AI initiatives.

• Ensure AI and data analytics governance aligns with national frameworks.

• Evaluate operational impact and benefits of AI deployments, driving continuous improvement.

• Represent RTA at national forums and contribute technical insights into AI advancements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in AI strategy, planning, or governance.

• Strong knowledge of AI governance, machine learning, deep learning, big data analytics, cloud technologies, and robotic process automation.

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and prioritize complex initiatives.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• UAE Nationals only.
