Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, part of the prestigious Rare Finds collection, is a luxury desert retreat in Dubai that offers guests authentic and captivating experiences amidst the stunning dunes and rich cultural heritage of the region. As part of its Food & Beverage team, the resort is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Waiters/Waitresses to deliver exceptional dining experiences across various outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and poolside dining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism, ensuring a warm and memorable dining experience.

• Present menus, explain dishes, recommend food and beverage pairings, and up-sell specials.

• Take accurate guest orders, process them in POS (Micros), and ensure timely and correct delivery of food and beverages.

• Maintain cleanliness, proper table settings, and high hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests courteously and escalate issues when necessary.

• Assist guests with seating arrangements and anticipate their needs during service.

• Monitor operating supplies, control wastage, and handle financial transactions accurately.

• Support opening and closing duties, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-prepared outlet at all times.

• Collaborate with team members and participate in daily briefings to maintain service excellence.

• Uphold company values by creating an atmosphere of warmth, professionalism, and guest-focused service.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in Food & Beverage preferred.

• HACCP certification is an advantage.

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment.

• Proficiency in using POS terminals and knowledge of stock & inventory systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to adapt to different F&B outlets.

• Positive attitude, flexibility, and commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
