Aldar Education is seeking motivated Classroom Assistants (UAE Nationals) for Virginia International Private School in Abu Dhabi, with immediate joining available. Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual students or groups inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in school activities.

• Assist in implementing individual education programs and monitoring student progress.

• Provide support to pupils with additional needs, such as emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Help teachers maintain student records and assist in preparing displays of student work.

• Manage photocopying and other administrative support tasks for teachers.

• Reinforce classroom behavior policies and promote student self-esteem.

• Supervise students during lessons and in other school settings.

• Collaborate with professionals such as speech and occupational therapists as required.

• Maintain a high standard of punctuality, attendance, and professional conduct.

• Contribute to the overall aims of the school while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and school policies.

Specific Duties:

• Provide academic support, including individual or group instruction as directed by the teacher.

• Demonstrate instructional activities and monitor student work.

• Offer encouragement, reinforce achievements, and report progress to the teacher.

• Assist in classroom organization and preparation of materials.

• Supervise students, manage attendance, and support classroom discipline in line with school policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a secondary school certificate.

• Strong English language skills (or language used in the school curriculum).

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other professionals.

• Commitment to student well-being, development, and learning.
