A leading organization in Dubai is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to drive talent development and succession planning initiatives. This role focuses on identifying capability gaps, designing career paths, and implementing leadership development programs to support business strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with HR and business leaders to enhance employee growth, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct talent needs analysis to identify current and future capability gaps.

  • Design and implement frameworks for career development, succession planning, and leadership pipelines.

  • Facilitate and manage talent reviews, HiPo (High-Potential) programs, and succession planning.

  • Develop and deliver leadership programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.

  • Manage mentoring, coaching, and job-rotation programs to support employee growth.

  • Collaborate with managers to build Individual Development Plans (IDPs).

  • Implement employee engagement and career development initiatives to improve retention.

  • Partner with leaders to assess and track high-potential employees and critical roles.

  • Use psychometric tools, 360 feedback, and assessments to guide employee and leadership development.

  • Integrate technical and functional learning with career development pathways.

  • Track and report talent metrics including succession readiness, HiPo retention, and promotion rates.

  • Support organizational change and cultural transformation initiatives.

  • Build relationships with external providers, universities, and consultants for learning programs.

  • Ensure all initiatives align with DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) principles.

  • Stay updated with best practices and trends in talent management and L&D.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.

  • Strong experience in learning & development, talent management, or succession planning.

  • Proven ability to design and implement leadership and talent programs.

  • Skilled in using psychometric tools, assessments, and development frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills to track talent metrics and provide insights.
