Saipem is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer (UAE National) to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves structural design, analysis, and support for offshore and onshore energy sector projects. This position is ideal for fresh graduates aiming to develop expertise in engineering design, project coordination, and offshore operations within a global engineering leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design & Analysis:

• Perform structural engineering design, finite element analysis (FEA), and load calculations for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures.

• Conduct structural integrity assessments, fatigue analysis, and weight optimization studies.

Technical Documentation & Compliance:

• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as API, AISC, DNV, ISO, and client specifications.

• Participate in design reviews and HAZID/HAZOP studies.

Project Execution & Coordination:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, piping, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

• Work closely with procurement and fabrication teams to ensure constructability and cost-effectiveness.

Offshore Operations Support:

• Provide technical support for offshore installation, transportation, and lifting operations.

• Perform site visits, inspections, and structural modifications as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• UAE National preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of industry codes and standards (API, DNV, AISC, ISO).

• Willingness to support offshore operations and site visits.
