Xiaomi Technology, a global leader in consumer electronics and smart devices, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its UAE office. The role will cover legal responsibilities across GCC countries, working within Xiaomi’s international legal and compliance team in a fast-paced, global environment. The Legal Counsel will provide legal advice, manage contracts, ensure compliance with regional regulations, and engage with government and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and conduct research on UAE and GCC laws and regulations.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of international contracts.

• Draft, adapt, and localize internal policies, guidelines, and templates.

• Review marketing materials and campaigns for compliance with applicable laws.

• Manage disputes and claims, including coordination with external counsels.

• Support compliance initiatives and promote Xiaomi’s compliance program.

• Liaise with Xiaomi HQ’s legal team for alignment on global policies.

• Manage relations with government and regulatory authorities in the GCC.

Requirements:

• Law degree with strong knowledge of UAE and GCC legal frameworks.

• Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution.

• Experience in corporate, commercial, and compliance law.

• Strong communication and legal research skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, international environment.

• Previous experience in a multinational company or tech industry is a plus.
