International Community Schools (ICS) is a leading educational institution in Abu Dhabi, with six branches across the city offering both British and American curricula. Dedicated to academic excellence and holistic student development, ICS is currently seeking a compassionate and professional Social Worker for its British Curriculum Al Maharat branch in Shakhbout City, Abu Dhabi.

As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being, collaborating with teachers, parents, and leadership to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support services to students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to create effective support action plans.

• Conduct individual and group sessions to promote positive mental health and well-being.

• Identify at-risk students and implement early intervention strategies.

• Develop and deliver programs that foster social skills, welfare, and positive school culture.

• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with ADEK policies.

• Coordinate with external agencies and community organizations for additional support when required.

• Organize workshops and awareness campaigns on topics such as bullying prevention, emotional resilience, and student safety.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a school social worker, counselor, or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of student safeguarding and child protection practices.

• Familiarity with British Curriculum schools is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic language skills are a plus.
