SLB is hiring a Sourcing Specialist – Construction with a strong Oil & Gas EPC background to manage the sourcing and procurement of construction subcontractors during tendering and execution phases. The role requires expertise in RFP management, vendor evaluation, cost estimation, and analytical modelling, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery for large-scale EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for construction subcontracting services.

• Serve as the single point of contact for sourcing activities related to assigned scopes.

• Conduct RFI and RFP processes to identify, assess, and qualify EPC contractors in the MENA region.

• Prepare and manage construction pricing sheets, cost estimation models, and benchmarking reports.

• Source, evaluate, and audit vendors to ensure compliance and performance.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to meet project and company goals.

• Collaborate with sourcing managers and contract specialists to finalize contracts.

• Use tools such as SAP Ariba for performance tracking and sourcing operations.

• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil), Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in sourcing & procurement within Oil & Gas EPC construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of MTOs (valves, piping, instruments, equipment) and cost estimation.

• Proficiency in SAP Ariba or similar sourcing platforms.

• Skilled in vendor evaluation, RFP management, and auditing.

• Ability to read P&ID, engineering drawings, and technical diagrams.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with Early Production Facilities (EPF) is a plus.
