Kitopi, a leading cloud kitchen platform, is hiring a Commis Chef to join its culinary team in Dubai. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting senior chefs with daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and develop under the mentorship of experienced chefs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items as per recipes and brand standards.

• Support senior chefs across various kitchen stations.

• Ensure all mise en place is prepared accurately and on time.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HACCP).

• Receive, check, and store deliveries while ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO).

• Report any maintenance issues, food shortages, or quality concerns.

• Minimize wastage and adhere to portion control guidelines.

• Contribute to a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts (preferred).

• Prior kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food hygiene and quality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
