The Journey Center for Social and Family Consultancy in Dubai is seeking a CDA-licensed Child Psychologist / Therapist to join their expanding team. This full-time role focuses on shaping youth development through evidence-based clinical interventions and educational programs, supporting children, adolescents, and families to develop emotional resilience and essential life skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments.

• Develop individualized treatment plans integrating behavioral interventions and life skills training.

• Lead parenting workshops and provide guidance for positive family dynamics.

• Customize program curricula to ensure cultural relevance for Dubai’s diverse community.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, educators, and therapists.

• Support schools and community organizations with expert interventions.

• Evaluate and refine programs for continuous improvement.

• Maintain strict ethical standards and confidentiality.

Requirements / Skills:

• Doctorate (PhD/PsyD) or Master’s degree in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.

• CDA Licensed Psychologist (or in final licensing stages).

• Extensive experience in Dubai with strong cultural competency.

• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

• Expertise in clinical behavioral interventions (CBT, family systems therapy) and educational/developmental support (SEND, curriculum adaptation).

• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Preferred: 8+ years of consultancy experience, group therapy, and program development experience.
