First Steps Nursery Montessori is a leading early years setting that integrates the EYFS framework with the Montessori approach, offering high-quality, inclusive, and child-centered education. They are seeking an experienced Team Lead Manager / Deputy Nursery Manager to support the nursery’s daily operations, lead staff, and ensure excellent educational and care standards. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in early years education, strong knowledge of EYFS and Montessori methods, and a passion for child development and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Nursery Manager in daily nursery operations and management.

• Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to maintain high teaching and care standards.

• Deliver a curriculum aligned with EYFS and Montessori principles.

• Build and maintain strong parent partnerships through effective communication.

• Ensure compliance with KHDA, Ministry of Education, and DHA regulations.

• Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection policies.

• Contribute to staff training and professional development initiatives.

• Support marketing, enrollment growth, and community engagement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).

• CACHE Level 3 / Level 5 in Early Years (or equivalent qualification).

• Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting.

• Strong knowledge of EYFS and Montessori education.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Passion for child development, safeguarding, and inclusion.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural team.
