HSS is seeking a skilled Vestas Authorised Technician to join their WTG Tech Services team in Global Village, Dubai. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on renewable energy projects starting in September 2025 and extending until the end of the year, with strong potential for continuation into 2026. The position focuses on maintenance, safety, and operational excellence in offshore renewable projects, specifically with Vestas turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and report hazards or procedural failings.

• Take personal responsibility for safety compliance while promoting HSEQ standards across project delivery.

• Support scheduled maintenance, including HV maintenance activities, paint corrections, and yearly turbine servicing (basic module, bolt tensioning, etc.).

• Carry out correct administration of inspection reports and checklists.

• Assist with unscheduled maintenance including fault finding, analysis, and execution of repair activities.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience with offshore renewable energy (construction and O&M).

• Hands-on experience with Vestas turbines, including V164 and V174 models.

• Full GWO BST certification, including Enhanced First Aid & Advanced Rescue.

• SafetyOn Wind Turbine Safety Rules Core, MMI & Practical.

• Technical and Operational Safety knowledge.

• Certifications in Safe Torque and Tension, Lift User/Avanti, and Vestas Operations course (V164).

• HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) including CA-EBS.

• Competency in working on or near electrical installations.

• Legal right to work in the UK (as part of global projects).
